FLAG DIFFERENCE MAKERS CHAPTER

Sara Britt, Chapter Director, oversees the FLAG Difference Makers. She has a background in English and Intercultural Studies and a true love for culture. Not only has Sara lived and worked abroad, but she has also hosted several students over the years and studied for a semester in Central America. Additionally, she spent several years as an English instructor for local immigrants.

Sara joined FLAG as a Local Coordinator (LC) in 2013 and was hired full-time in 2016, contributing in various capacities. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family—including lots of walks with her doodle, Calvin, and exploring her city with her young son, Ari.

Currently, Sara manages a team of 30+ Local Coordinators who place FLAG students primarily in Indiana, as well as Ohio, Georgia, Kentucky, and Minnesota. Our Local Coordinators’ main objective is to work diligently to connect and support host families and international students, providing unique experiences for all involved. Together, LCs and host families have the privilege of introducing diversity into their schools and communities through student exchange. We hope you’ll join our team of Difference Makers!
