FLAG BUILDING BRIDGES CHAPTER

Alisha is a Senior Chapter Manager who has been building bridges with her team of FLAG Local Coordinators (LCs) since 2016. She resides on the west side of Michigan with her husband where they have been raising their family; two adult children and one in high school. Prior to working with exchange students, Alisha served a long career in the healthcare field in various key positions supporting physicians and medical staff.

Alisha's love of international student exchange started many years ago when her family began to host international dignitaries. Since then, Alisha has hosted both short and long-term high school students, and has served as an emergency home for several others.

Currently, Alisha manages a team of LCs who support FLAG students all across the United States with a majority of them being hosted in Michigan, Vermont, Ohio, and West Virginia. The Bridge Builders take pride in providing outstanding support to students, host families, and schools. They look forward to many more years of helping others see the value in student exchange - and all it has to offer!
